Ellie and Ian’s St. Albans wedding day was nothing short of stunning, I was in awe as soon as I walked in the door. I fell in love with this fun pair at their engagement session, I don’t think I’ve laughed as hard as I did that day. Let’s just say Ian has ALL the best expressions, and I had no doubt then that he would bring his best game for their big day. And getting to hear Ellie and her bridesmaids talk vet school and research while they were getting their hair and makeup done before the ceremony made me smile. First off, as a daughter of a veterinarian and a wife of a research scientist, it felt like home. But second off, these beautiful ladies who were all dolled up and ADORABLE that day are also sharp as tacks and have no problem getting their hands dirty in everyday life. I find that refreshing, actually.
Ellie and Ian had a vendor team second to none, and everyone was on their best game for this gorgeous September wedding. The florals were exquisite, the food amazing, the D.J. fabulously great, and hair and makeup was on point. Put that all against the backdrop of one of the most beautiful venues in the area, add in some pretty amazing family and friends, and you have one incredible celebration! Ellie and Ian, you clearly are surrounded by so much love. What an amazing launch day into the rest of your forever.
