YAY!!! You are finished with your mini session! And I’m sure everyone is exhausted–and I’m hoping a little excited as well! I find that I tend to repeat the same information as we are leaving sessions, but I often forget some details. So I want to make it easier for both of us by getting all the information you need written in a blog post!
FIRST THINGS FIRST
I hope you are kicking your feet up with some well-deserved ice cream or another fun treat! It’s always a great feeling to land on the other side of a portrait session. As for me, I will get home and immediately upload your session to prepare to edit over the next number of days. I love to post a quick preview of your session on Facebook and Instagram sometime after the session, but this can be a few days out, especially during my busy fall season. I usually get a few families post before they receive their galleries, but many I will post after the galleries go out, as I’m more committed to getting my galleries done on time than I am getting to my social media posts. I will text you or email you if and when I get something posted so you can look for it! (If you have asked me not to share on social media, I will of course honor this request!)

Also, because of Facebook algorithms for business pages specifically, I often can’t tag you if you are not friends with me on Facebook. So you can you are more than welcome to tag yourself and anyone else who might want to be tagged on the post.

SHARING and REACH
One of the things I LOVE is when YOU love the image I post enough to share it with your friends and family. A like or love, as well as a comment always makes me happy, and doing this helps with engagement on the post! But to get the image in YOUR feed so YOUR friends and family can see it, all you need to do is click that SHARE button on the bottom right hand of the post. So share away!
TIMELINE AFTER THE SESSION
About two weeks after your mini session, I will email you an online gallery. The images in the gallery are watermarked, which means you can look through the gallery to decide if you want the full package or the smaller package, but you won’t be able to download the images quite yet. Once you decide, I will email you an invoice for the balance due. After that payment comes in, you will receive your gallery of images without the watermark and ready to download.
I do offer professional printing to anyone who would like to have professional prints, canvases, metals or albums–which are all stunning, by the way! If that is you, we will work out the details.
