Oh my, oh my–there is a new St. Louis Cardinals fan in town and I am completely smitten! This little guy pulled out all the stops for my camera recently, and I couldn’t be more pleased. I usually see my tiny clients between 7 and 14 days new, but little Frederick had other plans. When his mommy called me about a newborn session, he had just returned home from nearly 2 months in NICU and had already proved himself quite the champion. He was awake and alert for nearly half his session, which let me photograph his beautiful baby blues and all sorts of darling expressions. And of course he brought along his mom and dad–it was a good thing they happen to be Cardinals fans, too! 😉 These three are clearly meant to be together, and I loved getting to take some family images for their final gallery.
I know I’ve said it before, but I’ll say it again. These days are exhausting and precious and slip by more quickly than you can ever imagine. I love–let me repeat–LOVE–when families allow me to capture one of the sweetest seasons of family life. Thankfully I’ll get to see more of this darling boy this upcoming year, as he is on my Baby’s First Year plan. So stay tuned to watch him grow–because he is already on his way!
