Chloe and Edin’s wedding still has me on a cloud, as their stunning day was packed with both beauty and emotion. I am one to turn to mush as I edit through images, and I certainly was both laughing and tearing up as I worked my way through this gallery. Could you find a pair more in love than these two? I’m not sure you can!! Erin (my second photographer that day) and I let out our adoring sighs more than once that day, as Edin was so completely smitten with his gorgeous bride that it made us all swoon. I couldn’t love this couple more, and I certainly couldn’t love this wedding more. Yes, as you scroll down through a few pictures below, I’m sure you’ll agree their entire day was beautiful. But I hope you will also be able to feel some of what we all were feeling as you look through their pictures as well. This kind of beauty runs deep. And I was so honored to be there to capture it.
We began our day in St. Charles, and it was clear Chloe & Edin are surrounded by so many who love them. After the gowns were on and the first looks with her bridesmaids and dad were done, we headed to the August Busch Conservation Area to meet Edin for their first look. It was time to que the tears, because that was an incredible moment set in an incredible scene. What I love about first looks is the bride and groom have some time alone together to take it all in, and watching Edin’s reaction to seeing Chloe for the first time was definitely packed with emotion. After they had some time, we added in their fabulous bridal party before we headed to Good News Brewing Company in Defiance for their ceremony and reception. Talk about an amazing venue! This couple certainly knows how to put together an great vendor team, and it showed as everything came together beautifully. Of course, I also brought along some of my favorite people for my photography team–Erin Wodicker and Anna Rauch are ALWAYS on point for photographing weddings with me. Now that their vows have been made, these two are back serving our country in the Air Force, as many of you know. I am grateful, as I’m sure you are, for their sacrifice and service.
