This Lafayette Park engagement session with Sabrina and Justin was nothing short of stunning. These two were amazing in every way, and Lafayette’s backdrop made the entire evening incredible. Because of the layout of the park, there were a number of times I was photographing from quite a distance away so I could capture them in all the beautiful scenery. That meant I let them do their thing with minimal instruction from me, and it made for some fun captures–as these two seem to know how to have a great time. But don’t let all this beauty and fun fool you, as underneath all that, they both bring quite a bit of brain power to the table. MATH. It’s completely their thing, and I stand completely in awe and a little bit intimidated at the thought of it! Thankfully they didn’t ask me any complex mathematical questions other than a couple simple wedding timeline questions during their session. Those I can handle! 😉
Sabrina and Justin are less than a month away from their wedding, and I, for one, can’t wait to be at their big day. I love wedding days, LOVE them–especially when there is some delicious cake…or doughnuts…or ice cream–I’m not picky! But as everyone knows, the wedding day is only ONE day. It’s that lifetime together thing that is really the bigger deal. And it’s in that space where real love grows and is tested and learns to persevere. I have a feeling that Justin and Sabrina are ready for just that. They are grounded and they are surrounded by those who love them and are cheering them on.
