Oh, how I LOVE a beautiful wedding story, and Amy and Michael’s wedding day at Oliva on the Hill was nothing but a dream. They told me at their engagement session that they spent a lot of their dates down on The Hill, and it only was fitting to get married there. Oliva on the Hill is such a beautiful and unique venue–so much character and fabulous staff! Add in a gorgeous October day and it couldn’t have been more perfect.
It was obvious that family and friends alike were excited to celebrate this day…what a journey these two have been on. Somehow that makes a wedding day feel weightier and deeper in a good and beautiful way. I love how every bride radiates on her wedding day, just as Amy did. But what I noticed especially that day and as I edited through their wedding gallery was her smile. Pure and captivating. As she walked down the aisle toward her groom, you could hear Michael gasp when he saw her. And it was no wonder why.
And so, here we are. Amy and Michael are practically two months married, and I am putting the final touches on their wedding gallery–exicted to get the link in their inbox. Before I do, I have to say that the vendor team for this stunning day was incredible. Everything came together just so. Working with a friendly and competent team makes a wedding day seemless and fun. And with that, I do want to give a special shout out to my assistant photographer, Emily. I couldn’t do what I do without an amazing assistant, and Emily brings creativity and beauty every single time.
