It’s always time for an extended family celebration when your son and his wife from Texas come home for a visit–especially with a new grandbaby in tow! When Anita mentioned wanting to have family portraits taken this special week, you know I jumped on it. We decided their own backyard would be best for this session, and it couldn’t have been more beautiful! I had photographed one little guy with his family a year ago, so It was extra fun to see how much he has grown and changed. He had me high up in the back of his Uncle Drew’s truck before all was said and done, and those blue eyes were worth every bit of effort!
Thankfully my husband was along as my right-hand-man for this extended family session, as he had a fantastic idea that I may not have thought of. For anyone of you who know Mike, you know what a craftsman he is. So we grabbed a couple of shots of him in his workshop, and I think those are some of my favorites coming out of our afternoon.
