I know I told the story of how this Bee Tree Park family session began, but I just have to share it again. As usual, an inquiry came in through my website, so I set up a phone call to talk through session details. On the phone, I spoke with the sweetest woman–assuming this woman was in her twenties on my part–about gifting her mom a session for Mother’s Day. We had the most grown-up conversation and got to the part at the end about sending over a contract and invoice to book.
“Ummmm,” she says on the other end of the line, “Does it make a difference that I’m thirteen for signing the contract? Or should I have my dad sign it?”
And after being completely blown away by Cora’s kindness and maturity, we sealed the deal and I knew I would absolutely love this family! We ended up with the session landing on one of nights of the Stanley Cup Blue’s games, and everyone was a great sport about being at Bee Tree Park instead in front of a screen cheering on their favorite hockey team. They pulled off a gorgeous session, as I knew they would. And now a handful of beautiful images are hanging as canvases in what I believe is the cutest house in all of St. Louis.
