Hello & Welcome!

“Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory.”

I am so glad you are here!  I love meeting and photographing REAL and AUTHENTIC souls–those who love their people fiercly and who long to tell the story that only their family can tell.  Photography has a special way of pausing time, giving you a lasting memory of what once was.   In my sessions, we go beyond the poses and capture the moments instead.   That messy, crazy and imperfect life?  Yes, that one!  Bring all of it, and I will show you how beautiful it really is.  We will play, we will laugh, and we will probably get a little messy.  In fact, you may even forget you’re in front of a camera.  So throw out that idea of perfection and embrace what is raw and real.  You will come love on your people…I will take care of the rest.  Interested?  I hope so. Because this is about so much more than taking a picture…

"I get to love you...it's the best thing that I'll ever do."

“In the midst of all your struggle, is the poetry of your story.  Rich with emotion, connection & truth, deserving to be remembered.  My photographs are love notes taken to remind you of all the beauty that exists in exactly who you are & where you’re at in this moment.”

“Amazing photographer! Amy has an amazing eye for catching the most beautiful moments. You gave my family a lifetime keepsake. I am truly grateful!”

THE AMY ELIZABETH PHOTOGRAPHY EXPERIENCE

BEFORE THE SESSION:

Because every family and every individual is unique, every session should reflect the essence of who is in front of the camera!  To create beautiful portraits that capture YOUR family, I want to get to know you BEFORE the session even begins. Personalities, wardrobe choices, home décor—it all matters!  That is why a pre-session consultation, whether in person or over the phone, is a critical part of the process.  But don’t sweat it, I come loaded with ideas and information—you’ll love how we can put it all together BEFORE anyone steps in front of the camera!

DURING THE SESSION:

This is where the magic begins to come together as I photograph you with your loved ones.  Much of my sessions are unposed and interactive, and I will gently guide you through our time together.  So come, relax, and enjoy your family!

AFTER THE SESSION:

About 3 to 4 weeks after your session, we will meet together to go over your final gallery images.  I will have everything you need at this appointment to help you make decisions on how you want to display your beautiful portraits.

If you want breathtaking, high-quality photos of your biggest life moments… you’ll have a hard time finding anyone better than Amy. Her creative eye for detail and beauty reflect in every photograph. Not only is Amy talented, she’s so fun be around and immediately puts you at ease. I cherish the images she has taken of my family.

Family Storytelling Session – St. Louis Photographer
