I’ll admit right from the start that this Class of 2021 senior had me in sappy tears while editing her entire session. And I’m quite sure I won’t really be able to put into words how proud I am of her as she crosses this milestone. Her parents have been dear friends of ours for many years, and so this one is hitting a little close to home. Joanne has walked quite a journey already in her short life, and while she has accomplished so much, it isn’t her accomplishments that make her the incredible soul that she is. She is quite and brave, beautiful and strong, kind and good. My family is thankful to have her in our lives, my daughter especially treasures her friendship. And the blessing she is to her family is profound, I know. We had such a fun afternoon taking pictures on her family’s property, as it is a place of countless adventures and fun. It only seemed fitting to photograph her session in the place she calls home.
This past Saturday was her big graduation day, and it sounds like it was quite the day! And now she is heading into a new season, surrounded by so many who love her and are cheering her on…those here and one special someone who I know is watching from around the world. Pauline, you should be so proud.
