Que all the happy tears on my end–a Klondike Park maternity session with this precious couple so near and dear to my heart was nothing but a beautiful dream. I’ll skip all the parts about watching Tommy grow up and jump right to the part where these two took a chance on me and asked me to photograph their engagement session and wedding. Never mind that I had never photographed a wedding before…details, details. Then fast forward through some married life, some getting jobs in St. Louis life, church life, and goodness knows a million other moments and memories and we land here. Just days before Tommy’s sister, Noelle’s wedding, and smack dab in the middle of one gorgeous summer night where we meet up to celebrate one sweet little baby getting ready to make her appearance in this big world.
And we pause. And breathe. And take it all in while I grab a few snaps on my camera.
What a miracle. What a gift. Another beautiful milestone in their lifetime. Tabitha Naaz, you are already so VERY loved.
When God brings together two people who once lived oceans away and weaves together a commitment of forever, I am fascinated. In just a few days, she will be in their arms. But she is already firmly planted in the deepest recesses of their hearts. And so I wait a little longer for my next phone call from Tommy and Zerin, this time a call to tell me she is here. And then I will pack up my camera again.
