This family of five will always hold a special place in my heart. Actually, they already had before last October. But then I received a text. You see, I was hoping to try my hand at custom family photography. But I was going to need to expand beyond my own family members to see if it was going to be something I loved as much as I suspected I would. I was thinking I may have to use a little bribery to drag some of my friends’ families out for practice. But then I got a text early one morning from Jill. She was wondering if I would be willing to take their family pictures. Would I!! Turns out, they hadn’t had any formal pictures done since our church’s directory pictures several years back when their girls were little. And Jill was hoping we could return to the park where she and Chris were married. And so we did!
When we pulled into the parking lot, it was only fitting that a wedding was taking place in the same area where Chris and Jill had been married. However, we were crossing our fingers that the wedding party would clear out soon, because there was ONE picture Jill had been hoping to take back in the very spot where their family began. It really couldn’t have been a more beautiful beginning with a more beautiful family. Plus, we really just had so much fun! I could do a whole separate blog post of the crazy “outtake” pictures–there was plenty of laughter going on both in front of and behind the camera lens! These three girls are FULL of life and energy–just as it should be. And as far as THE PICTURE–the one that Jill was hoping for? Well…we got it! You’ll have to scroll through to the bottom of this post to see how it turned out!
