This South Dakota senior session was pretty epic in my book! I think I would be saying that regardless how the pictures turned out because Gabe will always have a special place in my heart. I held him as a tiny newborn and have treasured every bit of watching him grow up. I was a little teary editing his session because he seems to have grown up all too quickly, right along with my own boys who are blessed to call him friend. This kid has an incredible future ahead of him. I could list his many accomplishments and gifts, but more important than any of those things is his CHARACTER. This guy is a KIND soul. SO. VERY. KIND. Whoever becomes his wife will be well-loved. His future children will be well-cherished. And everyone who crosses his path will hope to be his friend.
We ventured to two different parks that overcast October day in Rapid City. The first was the beautiful Canyon Lake Park. There were so many amazing spots, I could’ve stayed all day. But that wasn’t going to happen because Gabe wanted to venture to the top of the city. It was a place he loved, and I remembered it well as we had visited there years ago when my firstborn was a toddler. Kids who go to Dinosaur Park love the giant dinosaurs. But I agreed with Gabe that the views of the city were spectacular! It was worth every bit of the climb!
Gabe Herman, you rock. I love you and your family so very much. Thank you for having me out to the great state of South Dakota for your senior pictures!
We would love to hear from you–especially if you know this incredible senior. Leave him a comment in the comment section!
