And just like that, Sarah and Paul are married. Talk about a stunning St. Louis summer wedding! Everything came together just so. Everything. The forecasted rain cooperated with their wedding timeline, the light was soft and beautiful, family and friends poured in to show this amazing couple all their love, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. One thing I learned about Sarah right when I met her is that she isn’t one looking for the spotlight. My guess is those that know her might be shouting a loud, “Amen!” right about now. So everything about this day was simple and elegant in the most beautiful way. What that did was put the spotlight right on love and connection…the kind that is deep and strong and goes beyond a pretty day. You could feel it not only with Sarah and Paul, but also with both their families, as well as their friends. Those are the days that I could bask in forever.
In addition to family and friends, Sarah and Paul’s vendor team definitely put their best foot forward. Of course, I always want to give a shout out to my assistant photographer, who that day was Emily Taylor. I have a very small team of photographers and assistants I draw from, and Emily always brings such joy and beauty to any wedding day. She has the most wonderful way of finding beauty in the most unexpected places. And Sarah and Paul’s wedding was no exception. And also a big thank you to my daughter, Anna, who helps me in any way I need and always puts up with a little bit of my crazy.
