It was no surprise that this stunning young lady had a rather large gallery of senior portraits! I feel for her mom in picking out favorites, as I had a hard time narrowing down just a few for this post! As always, I LOVE when it is clearly evident that a deeper beauty exists in someone and easily radiates from the inside out. Morgan fits that bill. She couldn’t have been sweeter or more gracious through this whole senior portrait process. Actually, her entire family was just as fantastic! This upcoming week is a big week for her family as she heads to college in a couple of days. I offered to her mom as they were leaving their ordering appointment that she is more than welcome to come by and change a diaper or two whenever she is missing both of her daughters while they are off at college…we’ll see if she takes me up on it! 😉
As my own son heads into his senior year at the same high school from which Morgan just graduated, this session hit a little close to home for me. All the cliché’s are true about how quickly our children grow up, aren’t they? To have joy mixed with a little sadness seems to be a common theme for us moms. You wish you could hold them as babies for just a bit longer, while at the same time you are excited and proud of who they have become and look forward to all they will be. Well, Morgan has finished the last lap of high school and now begins a new chapter at college. I can only imagine how proud her parents must be. There are brains behind that beauty. I hope I will get to hear more of what she pursues as she heads into the science field to chase down her dreams. I’m so glad we got to capture this important milestone moment before she launches into this next phase of her journey. Many blessings to you, Morgan–and thank you for being such a joy to photograph!
