Libby and Brenden’s winter wedding at The Franklin was nothing short of stunning. Waking up the morning of December 14th to cold and rain had nothing on the beauty of their day. It was clear Libby and Brenden were there for one thing only, and that was to step into their forever together. Their kindness and tenderness to each other filled the air, and everyone could feel it. Besides, a little rain makes things grow…and no one seemed to mind one bit. When I met Libby and Brenden for their Klondike Park engagement session, (you can see that session HERE) I knew their wedding day would be amazing purely because they are. Family and friends seem thrilled to be in attendance and cheer them on. And as photographers, we couldn’t help but think we were a small part of something incredible that day. I always love to dream about possible future generations looking back on these pictures one day, seeing where the love and commitment all began.
The Franklin is such a gorgeous venue, full of unique charm and history. And when it’s raining outside, it’s ALWAYS wonderful to have such a stunning place inside to take pictures. In fact, Libby and Brenden’s entire vendor team made for one incredible wedding. I always love it when everything comes together just so. Of course, I have to give an extra big thank you to my assistant photographer, Erin. Each and every wedding day is unique, and Erin is wonderful at stepping in to make things extra beautiful.
