Cassidy and Matt’s wedding at The Venue at Maison du Lac was a dream. I pulled into the venue on a gorgeous day, and upon walking into the bridal suite I knew the day would be so much fun. The Venue at Masion du Lac has a stunning getting ready house for the bride–there was so much character, beauty, and natural light–every wedding photographer’s dream! I think Erin and I could have spent the entire day photographing all the details and bridal party in the entryway alone! Cassidy was surrounded by all the love and laughter with her girls, and Matt and his groomsmen were having just as much fun in the cabin next door.
Once Cassidy was ready, she did a first look with her dad. I am a complete sucker for first looks with dads. And Cassidy’s dad was emotional before it even began. Cue the tears from everyone. After seeing her dad, it was time for a first look with her groom…more emotions, more tears. All the good stuff. And so went their wedding day. Love, laughter, and tears…then repeat it all again. Ahhh…wedding day bliss, and I love every second!
