As soon as Anna told me their family had purchased a property along a river, I knew we would be doing a family river session one day. And that is exactly what we did early this September. Let’s just say it will go down as one of my favorite sessions. Who doesn’t want to get wet and have some fun on a late summer day? I know I do!
As many of you know, the Minner family has been near and dear to our hearts for so many years now. Watching their family grow has been a beautiful thing, and I love that this is the third time I’ve had them in front of the camera. And then there is that little thing called math. Yes, MATH. The thing I don’t love to teach my kids, but the very thing Anna LOVES to teach. So for the past several years, she has been to my house twice a week–stepping into the mess and crazy of all of it–to teach my kiddos math. In fact, she’s doing that very thing as I type this post. A kiddo in the office with “Ms. Anna” calculating all sorts of numbers, Anna’s son playing with my other kiddos–making homemade puppets and digging popsicles out of the freezer–spending yet another fall day just as it should be.
