What a day! What an amazing and incredible day for Aysia and Ruben’s Aquila Barn wedding in Moscow Mills. The weather was absolutely crazy, and it actually made the day absolutely stunning. We just all had to flex a little. (Or a lot!) But we couldn’t have had a better crew to roll with it, from the vendors to the wedding party. Everyone was incredible, I didn’t hear a single complaint. We began with the hot, summer sun as the bridal party was getting ready. We picked up some gale force winds immediately after Aysia and Ruben’s first look. Those winds knocked out the electricity for a bit while the rain kicked in. Fast forward to a gorgeous ceremony inside the chapel, and then some bridal party pictures with a little more rain to keep us company. However…sometime during the first dances and speeches at the reception, the rains cleared and gave way to a dramatic and GORGEOUS sunset sky. Yeah, I was in heaven. The entire evening felt like a dream.
Aysia and Ruben pulled off a beautiful day. It was easy to look at all the stunning wedding day details and feel like you were in a fairytale. But this day was about so much more than that. There clearly is a love that runs deep with these two, and they were surrounded by nothing but love by all their family and friends. You could feel it in the room. You could hear it in the speeches, you could see it in the expressions…joy, tears, love…all of it.
Before I sign off, I have to give a big shout out to Aysia and Ruben’s vendor team. Talk about an incredible team! The Aquila Barn was an amazing venue. Stunning and friendly, second to none. And of course, I also want to give a HUGE thank you to my beautiful assistant, Emily Taylor.
