I do have to say, this family pulled off a pretty fabulous winter session and I couldn’t be more excited! I’m sure you can only imagine what it took for Paul and Rebecca to get their crew to not just one, but TWO locations for about ninety minutes in front of the camera. But the results were worth every bit of effort, and the second stop rewarded us with one of the most amazing sunsets I’ve ever had during a family session. With such a large crew, I think we were all hoping to have ONE beautiful family picture when everything was said and done. But seriously, you’ll see when I post their session video that there was definitely more than one to choose from!
I met this family back when they had one baby in tow. As you can see, saying their family has grown since then is a bit of an understatement. There is so much to say about how this family has added to their numbers that a blog post would easily turn into a novel if I even attempted to begin. But I will say again what I’ve said many times, it is IMPORTANT to pause every once in awhile from the everyday craziness and messiness of family life–especially when you are the parents of a large forever family such as this one. It is IMPORTANT to pause and see the beauty that arises from the trenches of the everyday. That beauty is what we were able to capture on this day. And that beauty is what is wonderfully displayed now as the artwork of their home.
