Ahhhh, if I could photograph Halle & Nick’s STUNNING fall wedding all over again, I’d do it in a heartbeat! Just pulling into Kelso, MO, had my heart, as I was raised in small town Iowa, and this felt like going home. Small town, big wedding, and even bigger hearts. If you happen to be from a small town, you know exactly what I’m talking about. This wedding was beautiful on every level, and it kicked off with a glowing bride right as we walked in the door. I’m pretty sure if you met Halle, you would want to be her best friend. It was fun watching her so excited as she was getting ready. As I edit through those getting ready pictures, I find myself smiling, as the joy in that room was contagious. Halle & Nick were married at the incredible St. Augustine Church…one of those jaw-dropping Catholic churches that has held countless weddings down through generations.
After the “I do’s,” everyone loaded up in the party bus and headed out for pictures. This bridal party was amazing…let’s just say Halle & Nick will have a rather large gallery from such a beautiful afternoon! The reception was second to none at the Bavarian Halle, every detail came together just so. My assistant photographer and I had already gasped when the gorgeous florals arrived earlier that day, and then we gasped again as we walked into the gorgeous reception room. The food? Yum! The florals and centerpieces? Breathtaking! The cake? An incredible work of art–both cakes were! Go see what I mean! The dancing? Packed with emotion and fun! I’m pretty sure both Erin and I teared up a couple of times–even during the dancing.
Which leads me to the vendor team…there really are no words. You should hang on to the list below if you are ever looking for amazing vendors. And of course, Erin, my assistant for the day, is ALWAYS on point…and helps keep me on point, which I really appreciate! I couldn’t be more blessed to have her along.
Halle and Nick, you two are incredible. I knew it the second I met you at your engagement session, and I am only more convinced of it after photographing your wedding. Clearly you are so loved by so many, and I couldn’t have been more thrilled to be a part of your day!
