Jessica and Nick’s wedding day at Oak Valley Golf Course & Resort was stunning. Absolutely STUNNING. The venue and it’s views felt like a slice of heaven, just as it should be for such a big occasion. All the details, from the princess gown down to the tiniest of flower were nothing short of classy and beautiful. The great thing about getting married and Oak Valley is that you can celebrate your entire day in one place, which seems to make everything run smoothly. Jess and Nick decided to do a first look, which gave us plenty of time for tons of pictures before the ceremony–which was a good thing since we did have to pause a bit for some rain!
As many of you know, Jessica has a special place in my heart, as I’ve known her since her later elementary years. So I was over the moon when she asked me to photograph her wedding. Jess and Nick, like many couples this past year, have had to weather the storms of wedding planning in the midst of a pandemic, and it’s always so exciting for me to watch each of my “pandemic” couples make it to the finish line! Oh, the stories they will be able to tell their future children and grandchildren!
Before I post a bunch of favorites from their day, I do want to say this couple had an incredible vendor team that made each and every detail amazing. Be sure to check them out:

And of course, a huge thank you to my own photography team, Erin Wodicker, Anna Rauch, and Leah Kantarevic! And I loved getting to hang out with a couple of my other favorite photographers for the day, Armand and Theresa Brucker, who were pulling off the videography that day. What a fun team!
