Oh my, little Oliver and his family had the SWEETEST in-home newborn session, and I couldn’t be more over the moon about all of it! Let me back up just a bit, as this wasn’t the first time I’ve photographed his parents. Beth and Tyler were one of my 2020 weddings–and we ALL know what that all meant. Yes, I met them for their engagement session at the Botanical Gardens, (you can see that session HERE) oblivious to what the months ahead would bring. Fast forward to having to reschedule their wedding because of the pandemic, instead saying “I do!” on July 4th–certainly a fabulous day to get married! You can see that wedding HERE, it was absolutely STUNNING!
And here we are in 2024 when I see a post go up that they had a baby. Needless to say, I jumped at the chance of photographing their newborn session. Oliver is just as sweet as he looks, and even Chewy cooperated for the session! We did it all…lifestyle and posed newborn pictures in their home…just as it should be. I love getting to photograph families in their own space and incorporating the feel of their home in the pictures. Beth had asked if we could also take some “reality” images–you know, how things really are when you bring home a new baby. That was a riot, and I’m so glad she suggested it!
