I had an incredible time doing some professional group and head shots recently. After hanging out with this crew for three of their most recent staff meetings this past month, I’ve decided that I either need to join the CarePoint staff or come up with a reason why I need some counseling. I have been seriously spoiled with this bunch. They were so much fun to be around–and of course, to photograph as well! CarePoint Christian Counseling was needing some updated group photographs as well as head shots, which is where I came in and was introduced to this fantastic group. I met with them a couple of weeks before our scheduled session to plan with them just what they were looking for in their pictures. We discussed all sorts of deep and thought-provoking issues around wardrobe and locations and how to best coordinate everything to get the final results they were wanting. 😉 And then, as if I didn’t already know that this group was a ton of fun to be around, the next week they sent me pictures of them posing in their outfits just to get a final thumbs-up on their outfit choices. It was a riot! If any of you know Tyler at all, I’m sure you can imagine the pictures he sent me. I should’ve asked them permission to post THOSE pictures because I think I was laughing off and on for the rest of the day! As you’ll see below, the photo session itself went well–I love it when a good-looking bunch is just as beautiful from the depths of their souls–that is what radiates and everyone can see it, don’t you agree?
Since I photographed this crew, I think I’d like to take a minute to talk about the importance of what this team has to offer. Life can sometimes get messy and hard. It eventually happens to each of us, often more than once or twice. And many times when we find ourselves in the middle of a crisis or emotional turmoil, we need to get some outside help. But knowing where to look for good help in hard seasons of life can often be so overwhelming that it’s easy to just not get help at all. A great therapist is worth his or her weight in gold, and it can be tricky finding a good fit. While I’ve known one of these therapists and his family for years, it didn’t take more than a couple of minutes to realize why he is working with this particular team. Authentic, real, down-to-earth, engaging, safe, able to laugh–I really could just keep on going with the amazing character traits that they exude. So tuck the name of this group in your back pocket. Whether it’s this week or some day in the future that you are in the place where you or someone you love could use an outside source to walk you through a difficult season, give them a call.
Thank you, CarePoint. I’m so glad to have had the opportunity to work with all of you!
I’d love to visit with you about capturing your family. Connect with me HERE if you’d like to know more.
