Of course I was excited to hear from Kerra that her family was in town just in time for a winter maternity session. I had photographed this precious family last spring, and I was more than thrilled to get to photograph them again! Winter is never considered prime time to have portraits taken, but I have come to LOVE winter sessions! Yes, you have to go looking for just the right areas. But when you find them and add in a family as beautiful as this one, the results are stunning. Kerra was radiant, to say the least, and sported an awfully adorable baby bump!
Since we are a few weeks out from their session as I blog this post, Josh and Kerra’s baby girl has arrived safely and wears a beautiful head of dark hair. I am confident she will be one fiercely loved little girl as she lives out the adventures placed before her. I am so thankful to have had the opportunity to capture some of life’s sweetest moments for this wonderful family. And before I close with some of their favorites, I would like to also thank a gracious friend, MacKenzie Pudenz of MacKenzie Pudenz Photography in Arizona, for pausing from her own busy life to send me two gorgeous maternity gowns to use for this session. MacKenzie has blessed me in countless ways (taking beautiful portraits of my own family as one of them), and I can’t thank her enough!
